The Yin and Yang of Strokes
Brain researcher Dr. A YouTube video by Jill Bolte Taylor fascinated me. She somehow managed to study her own stroke. She felt her brain functions slipping away one by one. The experience of first speaking, moving and then understanding left her completely numb.
Eight years later she has fully recovered and is speaking about her experience. Her YouTube video is a must watch to fully understand the disease that strikes fear into the hearts of every adult over 40.
As a holistic energy practitioner, I have a distinct advantage over the average physician dealing with stroke. I can rely on a pair of clairvoyant eyes known as Selvi Ratnam, a 42-year-old school teacher.
Selvi’s clairvoyant abilities began to blossom after her teenage years. She could literally see things that normal people couldn’t. She could see the colorful aura of the man. Everyone looks like the colors of the rainbow to her. People who are sick have very dark spots on their limbs.
When this ability began to appear, it occurred to Selvi that not everyone could see what she saw, and she began to feel that there was something wrong with her.
It was only later in her life when she met a Sufi master that she realized her clairvoyant potential.
Somewhere on my study shelf I have more than ten books written by a controversial Tibetan monk named Lobsang Rampa who, in the last years of his life, moved around in the body of a white man through an ability called transmigration.
One of the books was titled, The Third Eye. His opening of the third eye, the mystical eye that looks beyond the pair of physical eyes, describes how he endured the operation.
When I met Selvi during my healing journey, I was literally jumping with excitement to work with someone who could see beyond physical human limitations and perceive the dimensions revealed in Lobsang’s books.
My Shakti was Kundalini and Chakras and Selvi could see the condition of awakened Kundalini and Chakras very easily.
Selvi was introduced to me by Sehkar, a Reiki Master, and we eventually started working together at Paru Amma’s Holistic Center in Kajang, Malaysia to work as a team for about five years before moving to Keylang.
During our aura reading sessions, Selvi would tell me what she saw and I would take notes on the aura chart. Over time a pattern began to emerge. In most women, Selvi appears gray or dark on the left side of her body. And she will see the same gray or darkness on the right side of the man’s body.
Darkness in the aura indicates the absence of life force. And is usually a precursor to disease. When a person’s aura is completely dark, illness or death is imminent.
Yin refers to the feminine energy which is more emotional in nature and refers to the left side of the body. And yang refers to masculine energy which is more aggressive and refers to the right side of the body.
Every male or female has both Yin and Yang aspects. Of course, we’ve seen men who are feminine and we’ve seen women who are masculine.
The more emotionally distressed a woman is, the darker the left side of her body will be. It was the same with man. If he is emotionally disturbed, his left side will also be very dark.
In one particular case, we told a female client in her early 30s that she had a very dark aura on her left side. And I asked if she was having numbness.
Deafness is often one of the early symptoms of an impending stroke. She said it was just on her arm. I then asked about her emotional history and in the ensuing conversation she admitted that she had been sexually and emotionally abused when she was very young and was still emotionally traumatized by that incident.
We managed to get her to start a process known as emotional release and we ended by asking her to forgive the offender and forgive herself for the guilt. As she did so, she felt a surge of energy on her left arm and Selvi could see the darkness disappearing into a blue color that indicated it was returning to the arm.
As we continued to work on forgiving ourselves and her offender, her left side grew darker and a beautiful blue and green aura appeared. At the end of that session, her aura reflects the beautiful colors of the rainbow. And the numbness was gone.
We often find in our healing sessions that forgiveness is one of the most powerful healing tools available to us. Through the process of sincere forgiveness, there is an increase of energy in the form of white light which allows the affected part of the body to regain its normal vitality. It explains how the numbness or absence of life-force is overcome.
The female client was told that it was important to forgive the offender. If she slips back into the emotional spiral of pain and suffering, she will return to her old pain body which will darken the left or yin side of her body. Eventually, this will result in a stroke.
On the other hand, when a Selvi sees someone who is very stressed, in a hurry to get work done, or worried about a business deadline or the future, their aura will be very dark on the right or yang side – regardless of whether the person is male or female.
It is quite common for most professionals to have this kind of aura, although the average female CEO or high achiever is also affected. Stress does not discriminate between the sexes. Both men and women are equally affected and susceptible to stress.
In these types of cases, in addition to an emotional release process, we often advise these type A ambitious personalities to take a break or change their occupation or become more realistic about their goals. Being alive and healthy is preferable to being stressed and waiting to have a stroke.
At the end of the day most corporate types are starting to reevaluate their goals and objectives in life. Chasing promotions or living life in the fast lane and chasing millions cannot compensate for the weakness of a stroke. There is an old saying, chasing after money spoils our health. Then we spend all that money to regain our ruined health.
So listen. Take time, try and live as balanced a life as possible. Focus on the little things in life – listen to the sound of running water. Go bowling. Take up Tai Chi. color listen to music smile smile Play with your children. Plant flowers. Love yourself and love everyone. And you will be healthier and happier.
